Dr. Avital Deskalo

Dr. Avital Deskalo at Kavana Behavioral Health offers outpatient behavioral health services to children and their families. Avital Deskalo, Ph.D. is providing virtual therapy appointments for our ALL Pediatrics patients

Dr. Deskalo received her Ph.D. from Indiana University. She provides individual and family therapy as well as parent coaching.

Dr. Deskalo has a wide array of clinical expertise treating emotional and behavioral challenges in children, teens, and young adults, including but not limited to:

• Anxiety
• Disruptive behavior
• ADHD
• Mood concerns

Dr. Lana Mahgoub

Dr. Mahgoub, PhD. is a pediatric psychologist who offers evidence-based outpatient behavioral health services to children, teens, and young adults. Dr. Mahgoub offers virtual therapy services to youth in Virginia and across 40+ participating PSYPACT states. This allows her to continue supporting youth during transitions, college moves, or family travel outside of the state of Virginia.

Dr. Mahgoub received her Ph.D. from University of Wisconsin-Madison and has over a decade of experience helping families. Her services include individual therapy, therapy groups for children, and parenting support.
