
Zoila Castro was born in Lima, Peru, where her passion for caring for others began early in life. After earning her degree as an Obstetric provider in Lima, she moved to the United States to pursue advanced education. Zoila obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing from Manatee Community College in Florida, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida. In 2022, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing at The George Washington University and is now board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Zoila began her nursing career in the postpartum unit, where she developed a strong foundation in both clinical care and emotional support for new mothers. Her dedication and leadership skills led her to roles as Charge Nurse and Clinical Nurse Educator at George Washington University Hospital.
For the past two years, Zoila has been serving as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, where she has found her true calling in supporting children in their growth, development, and overall well-being. She is especially committed to creating a safe, inclusive environment that nurtures both physical and emotional health.
Outside of her clinical work, Zoila is a devoted wife and mother of two. She enjoys running, is currently learning to swim, and cherishes time spent with her family.
