Is ALL Pediatrics a Good Fit?

Practice Philosophy

Exceptional care happens when the physicians and staff are aligned with your priorities and philosophies regarding medical care. Only then can shared decision-making be based on mutual respect.

Please read the following topics to help you determine if ALL Pediatrics is the appropriate medical home for your children.

Our vaccine policy follows the schedule outlined by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Centers for Disease Control. We do not make exceptions for personal, religious or philosophical reasons. Our Care Team uses this schedule for their children and we expect the same from the families in our practice.

ALL Pediatrics practices antibiotic stewardship .We follow evidence-based guidelines when prescribing antibiotics. Our Care team educates parents on the appropriate use of antibiotics. If we believe antibiotics are necessary, we will explain our rationale. As a practice, will not call-in antibiotics.

Our Care Team works hard to provide your family with comprehensive medical care and to serve as your children’s medical home.  We request that you contact our office BEFORE seeking specialty care, urgent care or going to the emergency room for non-emergent medical conditions. Whenever you see a specialist, we request that you ask them to send a report to our office so we have the most up-to-date information in your child’s medical record.

ALL Pediatrics prides itself on efficiency through use of technology. You will be encouraged to consult our website, use our patient portal, and schedule appointments online.

We always have a pediatrician on call when our office is closed.  If you have an urgent issue that cannot wait until morning, you may call our office and receive advice from our pediatric nurse triage service.  There is a $30.00 fee for this service.  If your call is urgent, the pediatrician on call will be contacted.

If you have a life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go directly to the nearest emergency room.

You may wish to check the health library for helpful information before using this service.

ALL Pediatrics participates with many different insurance plans but we do not accept every insurance.  It is your responsibility to know the limits and coverage of your particular health insurance plan, to show your insurance card to us at each visit and to provide up-to-date demographic information at each visit.

ALL Pediatrics practices evidence-based medicine and we follow the policies and recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics. There is no way for us to know the limitations of different policies; parents are responsible for knowing what their specific plan covers including deductibles and co-insurance amounts.

We require that all families keep a credit card or HSA card on file.

Contactless Payment

Missed appointments represent a cost to us, to you and to other patients who could have been seen in the time set aside for your child.  We charge a fee for all missed appointments. Please see our financial policy for more detailed information.

If you arrive after your appointment time for a Well Child Check, ADHD/Med Check, Follow Up or, Mental Health visit, you will be asked to reschedule out of a courtesy to the provider and other families.  If you arrive late for a Sick Visit, you will be moved to the next available appointment but you may have a prolonged wait.
