Catherine was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She completed her undergraduate studies at University of Miami and medical school at Temple University. She then relocated to Northern Virginia to complete residency at Inova Fairfax Children’s hospital.
She is board certified in both Pediatrics and Obesity Medicine. She enjoys all aspects of pediatric care but has particular interests in pediatric obesity, nutrition/gastroenterology, and child development.
After moving across the country with her husband in the military, they have now returned to Northern Virginia where they have settled with their 3 children.
